About Us
Formentera Operations LLC is the operator for Formentera Partners. We acquire and optimize producing oil and natural gas assets in onshore United States basins and select international opportunities where we can apply our expertise and technology to drive cash flow and returns.
Formentera, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Daly Waters Energy, announced a strategic joint-venture partnership with INPEX, one of the world's leading LNG providers, to develop world-scale natural gas resources in Australia's Beetaloo Basin. The collaboration brings together Formentera's leading shale expertise and INPEX's global LNG capabilities to establish a new domestic natural gas source for Australia and support future LNG exports to premium markets around the world.
Formentera owns and operates approximately 3,900 wells. Daily production is nearly 70,000 barrels of oil equivalent, with a balanced production mix.

Before contacting our revenue department, please consider that direct deposit should be received by the last day of the month and paper check should be received within the first week of the following month depending on location and banking policies.
Formentera will void outstanding checks 45 days after the issue date in order to give lost mail a chance to be delivered. If you request a check to be voided, please allow 60 days (two revenue cycles) for the voided funds to be reissued.

- The last four digits of the tax ID associated with the account for security purposes.
- Current Mailing Address
- Month(s)/Year check was distributed.

The transfer process takes approximately 90 days to complete upon submission of all required documents.
To transfer the estate, we will need the following information:
- If the owner died with a will (testate) and the estate has been probated, please provide a recorded copy (recorded in the county/counties in which the deceased owned property) of the following:
- Death Certificate
- Last Will and Testament
- Order Admitting Will to Probate
- Letters Testamentary
- Final Decree of Distribution
- If the owner died without a will (intestate) or you will not be probating the estate, please provide a recorded copy (recorded in the county/counties in which the deceased owned property) of the following:
- Death Certificate
- Proof of Death & Heirship (prepared by a disinterested party)
We will also need completed W-9 Forms from any beneficiaries/heirs.

We will temporarily suspend your owner account so that no further payments are disbursed. Our new owner portal will allow you to update your bank information as soon as you have a new account.
Please understand that we are often inundated with calls, emails, and letters. Repeated attempts to contact us will not expedite your case and will likely extend the wait time for every owner needing assistance.
